Who we are

BYTETRIX TECHNOLOGIES (business registration no. SA0657802-V), a technology studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the data user responsible for the personal data described in this policy. In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to BYTETRIX TECHNOLOGIES.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and to keep the website running.

• Information you give us. When you submit the enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, the budget range you select and the project details you write. If you email or call us instead, we receive whatever you choose to include.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps — which are used to operate and secure the site.

We do not run advertising or third-party tracking on this website, and we do not use cookies to profile visitors. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Why we use it

We use personal data only for these purposes:

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement.
• To prepare proposals, scopes and quotations you have asked for.
• To operate, secure, debug and improve the website.
• To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form or contact us, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing our business. We will not send you marketing you did not ask for, and we will never sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as far as they need it:

• Hosting and delivery. This website is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests and stores server logs on our behalf.
• Email. Messages sent to our address are handled by our domain registrar's email forwarding and our email provider.
• Professional advisers and authorities. Where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Some of these providers operate servers outside Malaysia. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection to that required under the PDPA.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have a record of our dealings — normally up to twenty-four months from our last contact, unless the enquiry becomes an engagement, in which case records are kept for as long as required for the project and by law. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics. We delete or anonymise data once it is no longer needed.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, access to enquiry data is limited to people who need it, and we choose reputable providers with their own security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — please do not send sensitive personal data, credentials or payment details through the enquiry form.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may, at any time:

• Ask for access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
• Withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data.
• Ask us to limit how we process your data, or to stop processing it.
• Ask us to delete data we no longer have a reason to keep.

Write to info@bytetrix.tech and we will respond within the period allowed by law. We may need to confirm your identity first. Note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer respond to your enquiry.

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
